School of salmon rowing boat fishing, 4 hours
Have you already tried salmon harling fishing, or would you like to learn more about it? The Harling Fishing School of Elämysvirta – Flow of Experience offers for beginners and experienced salmon rowers an easy way to get to know this traditional fishing method. The professional guide familiarizes you first with the equipment, then you will move by the river. You will get advice on rowing lines and learn to read the river and its currents. The guide also gives you great tips for identifying the best fishing spots. The excursion can be customized according to your wishes.Book an exciting and unforgettable summer fishing experience.
To whom: Difficulty level of the tour is easy. You are welcome, if you are least 13 years old and able to sit in the rowing boat for about 1,5 hours without a break.
Availability: Tornion-Muonionjoki river 20.6.-31.8. Kemijoki river about 1.5. –25.5. and 5.9. – 15.10. according to current fishing rules and regulations.
Duration: 4 hour
Group size: 1 person in boat, on land 2-5 persons / group. We have possible to take 2 persons on the boat for extra charge.
If you want to go fishing without a guide, you can fish from the shore or you can rent a boat and follow guiding on the river.
Temperatures in Northern Lapland can ble close to zero even in the summertime. It might also be windy, especially on the river. We recommend you to use warm wind and waterproof clothes. You can best protect yourself in the traditional 3way by wearing two or three layers of warm clothes under a wind and waterproof jacket and trousers. Remember to wear a warm hat and gloves.
Start of the school is Muonio, Kuusisuvanto Salmon Cottage.
